November Message from NAPO President Susie Hayman

NAPO President, Susie Hayman

Dear NAPO Members,

Since Barry Izsak generously endowed the Barry Izsak | Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship in 2012, the Scholarship Committee has awarded 23 scholarships over the past seven years! That’s 23 NAPO members who have been given the opportunity to attend an Annual Conference, something that they would have otherwise never experienced. How amazing is that!

The Barry Izsak | Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to qualified NAPO members to attend NAPO’s Annual Conference. Through an application and selection process, the NAPO Scholarship Committee chooses a minimum of two qualified scholarship recipients annually to receive complimentary full-conference registration, plus basic hotel accommodations for two nights at the upcoming Conference.

NAPO’s Scholarship Fund has grown over the years, as the result of the generosity of various individuals and businesses, the majority of which are you — NAPO members. These contributions to the Barry Izsak | Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship Fund, no matter the amount, ensure that the fund continues for years to come.

Now, you may wonder – what can I do? How can I help?

Reflect on all those times when you were looking for the perfect gift for someone who had everything, or you wished to honor a colleague or friend for their accomplishments, or you wanted to acknowledge the loss of someone.

Next time you’re pondering over what to do, consider a donation to our Barry Izsak | Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship Fund. You can:

  • Honor someone you admire
  • Congratulate someone for an achievement
  • Recognize a special life event, milestone or celebration
  • Memorialize a loved one

Donating to the Scholarship Fund is easy!

Let’s keep on growing our fund so that NAPO members will always be able to experience how it feels to attend the NAPO Conference! That’s the greatest value we can bring to future generations.

Warm regards,

Susie Hayman, NAPO President
